Viscose fabric smooth – how is it made?

Viscose is called rayon or cotton due to the similar appearance and structure of the material (depending on the weight). It is obtained as a result of chemical treatment of cellulose. Its main component is purified wood mass, most often obtained from coniferous wood, e.g. spruce.

It is difficult to classify viscose unequivocally as a natural or artificial material. Plant raw material is used to make it, but the whole technological process is quite complicated and requires the use of specialized equipment and chemicals. Viscose, however, is a good example of the fact that "artificial" fabrics are not always of inferior quality. Plain viscose fabric combines the characteristics of organic materials such as linen or cotton with the excellent properties of plastic products, for example polyester. This makes it extremely versatile and allows you to create clothes that are very comfortable and great when worn at different times of the year.

Viscose can have different faces – its fibers may resemble silk or wool. Mostly, however, they are extremely pleasant to the touch and airy, which significantly differs it from most artificially obtained counterparts
