What is the difference between velvet fabric and veil? Although both materials are included in plush fabrics, the main differences are the method of their production and the length of the bristles ("hairs"). Velvet is nobler than veluru and has longer bristles. The most expensive one is made of silk. Velour is thinner than velvet, and properly prepared, it can even imitate the zamsz with its texture!
